In 1974 I began to teach and perform professionally as a soloist, since when I have never ceased in the attempt to broaden my knowledge. I continue to be awed by life and art, although I realize that there is so much more to learn.

I have had the marvellous opportunity to live in various countries, getting to know their cultures and gradually enriching myself through musical and human knowledge. All this leads one to approach one´s art from different perspectives. For my academic training I have studied works from different periods such as the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Nationalist, Impressionist and the music of the XXth Century .

For cultural motifs I have gone deeply into the repertoires of Spanish, Columbian and Latin American composers. Each year I usually perform new works for the first time, work on transcription arrangements, make recordings and search for new repertoires.
